Retzlaff said restaurants in Greeley and Colorado are getting on board for the state's Smart Meal Seal program, which is designed to provide consumers with entrees that are more nutritional. And fast food chains, such as McDonald's and Burger King, are developing alternatives to fried foods such as French fries, and soft drinks, offering fruit and milk as nutritional choices, particularly for kids.
